In a thought-provoking Friday Talk Program at Khwopa College of Law, honorable Shrijana Sainju, Provincial Member of Bagmati Province, graced the event as the special guest. Addressing the audience, she delved into pressing contemporary issues, sparking engaging discussions.
Ms. Sainju initiated her talk by questioning whether lawyers should unquestioningly believe all published news. She shed light on the media's political affiliations and discussed the occupation of the media by various political groups. She drew attention to the current challenges faced by Nepal's youth and emphasized their responsibility in addressing social injustices.
Highlighting Nepal's dependence on foreign policies and decisions, Ms. Sainju urged the youth to actively participate in shaping the country's future. She shared her analysis on the global trend toward injustice and the looming threat of conflict and war. She also explored into the intricate truths behind the Israel-Palestine conflict, adding depth to the discussion.
The program also featured a cultural segment where a group of talented students sang a melodious Dasain song. Ms. Priya and Ritik Dhungana extended heartfelt Dasain, Tihar, and Chath wishes to the audience. Additionally, Ms. Sushmita Chapagain presented the legal news of the week, keeping everyone informed about recent legal developments.
