    • Introduction

      Khwopa College of Law, buoyed up with the idea of enlightening the whole society and the nation by means of providing quality education, the municipality made an aggressive initiation realizing their long term vision of the overall development of Bhaktapur Situated at the ancient historical and cultural city, Bhaktapur.

      In its decade long history, Municipality has proved itself as one of the well-equipped education hub with national recognition. 

      Building on its success, the municipality has established various educational institutions. In 1999, Khwopa Secondary School was set up, followed by Khwopa College and Khwopa Engineering College in 2001, Khwopa Poly-technic Institute in 2004, and Khwopa College of Engineering in 2009. These institutions are dedicated to serving the community and envision Bhaktapur as a center of excellence, promoting intellectual growth throughout society.

      The motto of Khwopa College of Law is to produce global leaders with sound theoretical knowledge competence and skill. That is why the institution will takes every academic year as a new beginning and tries for something that is beyond attainment. The philosophy has always remained to try for something that has never been done or that other have tried and failed. This very essence will be backed by experienced professors, visiting subject experts and lecturers. Along with, we maintain the regular classes, in-depth practical assignments, field excursion and report writing which are the recipes for success of each individual student. 

      Private and public investment in the field of higher education is rapidly increasing. Investment in this sector is for long term objectives. Benefit from this sector is long lasting. Today's investment in education is great asset for the future national economy as well as overall development.

      There are many Law Colleges, running by private sectors affiliated from different Universities. However, programs affiliated to the Purbanchal University are in first priority due to various reasons, mainly due to the well-established concept of smooth running of classes and examination, monitoring and evaluation process and in house faculty strength .

  • FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

    Yes, it is compulsory to be in uniform. Students without uniform are not allowed to sit in the class. There is no excuse for not being in uniform.

    Based on the Purbanchal University scholarship entrance exam and interviews.


    (Note: Students must attend 90 % attendance of class running days and secure at least 50 % marks in every terminal exam.) 

    1. Students must have completed 10+2, or Proficiency Certificate Level on any faculty from Higher Secondary Board (or any University)
    2. Students must fill up a prescribed Admission Form attaching an attested copy of each of the credentials of a previous degree, transfer, character certificates etc. from an accrediting institution.
    3. Students must appear in an Entrance Examination and Orientation class.
